Transmission and distribution is actually where Billy Barnhill first started in 1946. He was a journeyman lineman who traveled across the U.S. with some of the largest line construction companies in the world.

Our line division has been in operation since 1971. We can construct transmission lines that stretch over 100 miles. We can construct lattice towers, 300 feet tall, set poles 150 feet tall and build substations from the ground up. We work with voltages ranging from 5,000 volts to 500,000 volts whether it be above ground or underground, we can handle the job. We have constructed power generation stations for major utilities. We perform all the work ourselves including excavation, concrete and steel erection.
